Soft tap water is suitable for the initial rinse. <\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">For cleaning and disinfection, cleaning-active treatment agents with or without antimicrobial effect and\/or enzymes that do not have a protein-fixing effect must be used. The manufacturer&#8217;s instructions regarding concentration and contact time and, if necessary, the addition of cleaning boosters must be strictly adhered to. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The Woodpecker is made of aluminum and stainless steel. It must never be placed in physiological saline solution (NaCL solution), as prolonged contact leads to pitting and crevice corrosion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">When using alkaline cleaning agents, only cleaning agents approved for cleaning surgical instruments may be used. The instruments must be treated with a suitable neutralizer immediately afterwards and then rinsed thoroughly with demineralized water. In the case of automated cleaning, neutralization is already included in the cleaning program.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">If powdered products are used, the powder must be completely dissolved before use to avoid discoloration or corrosion of the instruments.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"avia_codeblock_section avia_code_block_2\">\n<div class=\"avia_codeblock \"> <\/div>\n<h6 class=\"avia_codeblock \"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Aids<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/section>\n<div class=\"av-special-heading av-special-heading-h3 avia-builder-el-11 el_after_av_codeblock el_before_av_textblock \">\n<div class=\"special-heading-border\">\n<div class=\"special-heading-inner-border\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \">\n<div class=\"avia_textblock \">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">In hospitals with a central sterile supply department (CSSD), contaminated medical devices are transported in closed systems from the operating theater to the CSSD. Wherever possible, dry disposal should be preferred. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">A prerequisite for effective automated reprocessing is the correct loading of sieve trays for rinsing<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">We recommend using lint-free, soft cloths made of a cotton\/polyester mix, plastic brushes or cleaning guns for cleaning. Wiping with PH-neutral or slightly alkaline cleaning agents is permitted. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">It is not recommended to place the machine in a cleaning and disinfectant bath.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">If the instrument is washed in a washing machine, make sure that it is checked immediately after the washing process to ensure that it does not remain in the water for a long period of time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>CAUTION:<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Do not immerse or &#8220;soak&#8221; the woodpecker in liquid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">This will damage the Woodpecker.
